Children's author Todd Parr, known for his vibrant illustrations and positive messages, visited three Council Rock schools recently.
Parr, the author of popular children's favorites "It's Okay To Be Different," "The Feelings Book," and "Be Who You Are," visited Newtown Elementary School, Richboro Elementary School, and Churchville Elementary School at the end of October.
Newtown Elementary School teacher Mindy Popescu shared some photos with Patch and said Parr left students with a very special message: "If I can help people, especially kids, learn to believe in themselves and accept others, then maybe their lives will be a little easier and maybe their dreams will be a little closer coming true."
