NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Northampton Township Police Department reported several crimes that occurred in the area between Monday, Feb. 21, and Sunday, Feb. 27.

Monday, Feb. 21

- Police responded to Lower Holland Road at Grace Drive for a fatal single-vehicle car accident; the driver struck a tree. The accident is still under investigation.
- Police responded to West Bristol Road at Jacksonville Road for a report of a two-vehicle traffic accident; one driver sideswiped another. There were no reported injuries and neither vehicle required a tow.
- A case of fraud was reported in Titus Avenue. The complainant reports that while checking her banking information, she observed an unusual transaction. She then noticed a check that was cashed for $1,400 that she did not write or authorize. The complainant was advised to contact the bank and inform them about the case.
- Police responded to East Bristol Road at Hatboro Road for a report of a two-vehicle traffic accident; one driver rear-ended another. There were no reported injuries and neither vehicle required a tow.
- A fire was reported on Post Road. The complainant reported the fire as being upstairs in the home. NTVFD arrived on the scene and located a faulty heater.
Tuesday, Feb. 22
- Police responded to Winter Road for a report of a hit-and-run accident. The property owner reports that an unknown vehicle struck his mailbox; he was able to provide a video for the police, which shows a black Mercedes Benz striking his mailbox and then leaving toward Saint Leonards Road.
- A case of criminal mischief was reported at Saint Leonards's ballfield. An unknown person graffitied the inside of the dugout.
- A traffic accident was reported in the parking lot of Rolling Hills Elementary; one driver backed into another. There were no reported injuries and neither vehicle required a tow.
- Police responded to East Bristol Road at Knowles Avenue for a report of a two-vehicle traffic accident; one driver rear-ended another. There were no reported injuries and neither vehicle required a tow.
Wednesday, Feb. 23

- Police responded to the Bank of America ATM located off Almshouse Road for a report of a burglary. Two Black male subjects were seen inside the ATM building on a live feed. Police were on scene within 2 minutes of receiving the call and the subjects were gone.
- Police responded to West Bristol Road at Jacksonville Road for a report of a two-vehicle traffic accident; one driver rear-ended another. There were no reported injuries and neither vehicle required a tow.
Thursday, Feb. 24
- Police responded to Woodlake Drive at Buck Road for a report of a two-vehicle traffic accident; one driver rear-ended another. There were no reported injuries, but one driver required a tow.
Friday, Feb. 25
- Police responded to a residence for a report of simple assault. A subject was taken into custody and charged.
- A subject came into police headquarters to turn herself in on an active warrant. She was processed and arraigned.
- Police responded to Cornell Avenue for a report of a two-vehicle traffic accident; one driver stated he suffered a mechanical failure and struck a parked vehicle. There were no reported injuries, but the driver required a tow.
Saturday, Feb. 26
- Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department picked up a subject on a warrant. She was processed and arraigned.
Sunday, Feb. 27
- Police responded to Sackettsford Road for a report of a one-vehicle traffic accident; the driver lost control of his motorcycle and crashed. Both occupants sustained injuries, and the motorcycle had to be towed.
