Flushing Of Northampton Hydrants, Water Mains Coming In April
The Northampton Bucks County Municipal Authority advises customers all to refrain from using water for the duration of the flushing.
NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Northampton Bucks County Municipal Authority has announced that the annual spring flushing of local fire hydrants and water mains will take place from Monday, April 4 to Tuesday, April 26.
The flushings are scheduled to take place between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on each day.
The municipal authority warns Northamoptin Township customers that they might notice discoloration in the water during this period. Customers can run cold water for several minutes until the water returns back to a normal color, according to a statement from the municipal authority.

"Customers are advised to refrain from using water for drinking, cooking or clothes washing while the flushing is in progress (...)" the municipal authority said.
