The incident was mistaken for an act of child luring by a concerned parent, who recorded the moment on a video that went viral. Police say they spoke to both parties and determined it was not child luring.

"We wanted to let the residents know that we have confirmed there was no attempted child luring that took place yesterday," the police department said. "It was a misunderstanding."

This misunderstanding took place around the same time as a confirmed attempt at child luring outside of Pennsbury High School, which occurred on the afternoon of Friday, March 18.
