James E. Kinney Senior Center Bocce League Championship

Team Fetzer won the Senior Center Bocce League Championship on September 29th at the final round tournament held at the James E. Kinney Senior Center.

The Fetzers were captained by Fetzer Cibilho and beat the CKLDs captained by Kathleen Murphy in the final round.

The league was comprised of 24 teams and the top 14 teams made the playoffs which began September 17th with the top two teams getting a bye in the first round. There were 4 playoff rounds beginning September 17th. Each playoff round was the best of 3 games with the winner advancing to the next round. The final championship round was won in two games by team Fetzer with scores of 11-7 and 11-8.

League Commissioner Bill Martin said the regular season league play started on June 9th and concluded September 29th after 39 games were played by each team prior to the playoffs for the championship.
