Parades are planned in Newtown, Doylestown, Langhorne, Warminster and more.

Here’s a look at some Memorial Day events in Bucks County:

Newtown Memorial Day Parade

When: Monday, May 25 at 9 a.m.

Details: The parade, organized by Morell Smith Post 440, will begin at the Commons West Building on Newtown-Yardley Road.

Doylestown Memorial Day Parade

When: Monday, May 25 at 10 a.m.

Details: The parade begins at Central Bucks West High School and continue through Doylestown to the Doylestown Cemetery, where there will be a memorial service.

Washington Crossing Historic Park Memorial Day Observance

When: Sunday, May 24 at 1 p.m. at the gravesite of Continental soldiers.

Details: The observation will include a colonial color guard, the Old Barracks Fife & Drum Corps, Revolutionary War reenactors, the Guardians of the National Cemetery Firing Party, Daughters of the American Revolution, veterans, Boy Scouts and more.

Yardley-Makefield Memorial Day Parade

When: Monday, May 25 beginning at 11 a.m. on North Main Street.

Details: The parade, organized by American Legion Post 317 and VFW Post 6393, proceeds south to the Legion Post.

When: Monday, May 25 following services at 9 a.m.

Details: The parade is presented by the Jesse W. Soby Post of the American Legion.

Warminster Memorial Day Parade

When: Monday, May 25 at 10 a.m.

Details: The parade starts at the Township Building, and goes east on Henry Ave, north on York Rd, east on Street Rd and north on Louis Drive. The parade ends at the VFW Post on Louis Drive.
