New Playground Opens at Holland Elementary School

A new playground at Holland Elementary School was dedicated during a ceremony Friday.

The brand new $40,000 playground features a variety of play equipment, including four basketball nets, swings, a zip line, climbing wall, two ball shoots and more, according to a report by The Advance.

The PTO held fundraisers for the new playground.

Plus, the Advance reported, there were corporate and business sponsors, including the First National Bank of Newtown, Margiotti and Kroll Pediatrics, Cathleen George Orthodontics, Universal Bank and Trust, Firstrust Bank, Customers Bank, Elliott Lewis Corporation, Synergy Glass and Door, Steamfitters Local 420, Langley Traffic Service, Cantor Novak Beaver and Pike, PC and Performance Spine and Sports Medicine.
