Newtown First Fourth: What You Need To Know

Fireworks will light up the sky in Newtown Saturday.

Newtown’s annual summer celebration, First Fourth, is this Saturday, July 11 at Newtown Middle School. Festivities will include a variety of activities and food, followed by, of course, fireworks.

The celebration will kick off at 3 p.m. Fireworks start at about 9:30 p.m. There is no cost to attend but there is a fee for the children’s bounce area.

Festivities include:

• Boro vs. Township Softball game
• Food
• Vendors
• Colonial Re-enactment
• Bounce Area (fee)
• Fireworks

The fireworks are sponsored by Piccolo Trattoria. McCaffrey’s is sponsoring the shuttle buses from Council Rock North.
