Northampton Awarded Close To $1M For Sidewalk Improvements

The grant was announced by State Senator Frank Farry and State Reps. Kristin Marcell and Joe Hogan (R-Bucks).

RICHBORO, PA — Northampton Township has been awarded a nearly $1 million multimodal transportation grant to improve sidewalk access in the Richboro area.

The grant was announced by State Reps. Kristin Marcell (R-Bucks) and Joe Hogan (R-Bucks) and State Sen. Frank Farry (R-Bucks).

"Ensuring our residents can travel safely within our community is paramount, which is why state support for local infrastructure projects, like the sidewalk improvements in Richboro, is so essential," said Marcell. "I am thrilled to have worked alongside Sen. Farry and Rep. Hogan to advocate for these funds toward making a tangible, positive difference right here in our community."

The Multimodal Transportation Fund provides grants to encourage economic development and ensure that a safe and reliable system of transportation is available to the residents of the Commonwealth.
