Santa Visited Northampton Township Via Firehouse
The Township Fire Department hosted its annual Saturday with Santa
The Northampton Fire Department was proud to host its annual Saturday with Santa event this past Saturday December 14th according to Chief Adam Selisker who is also Chaiman of the Northampton Township Board of Supervisors. “This is a great way to enjoy the holiday season and meet your first responders. This is the second year in a row, and we expect to host this event every year and make it a Northampton tradition" said Selisker adding "In addition to seeing Santa, the children get a great opportunity to interact with the firefighters in a non-emergency environment. The "touch a firetruck" is always popular, but not as much as Santa".
It is obvious to all that the Fire Department employees and volunteers recognize the investment from the Northampton Township residents and this is a great way to give back to the community in addition to emergency response.
Some of the key individuals who coordinated the event along with Chief Selisker were Deputy Fire Chief Rob Holmes and Administrative Assistant Amanda Goodwin. Just about every member of the Department assisted and participated.
