Second Street Pike To Close For Road Work Next Week
The road work will start this coming Monday in the areas of Highland Road and Sackettsford Road. Read below for information on the closures.
NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Parts of Second Street Pike are scheduled to be closed in several areas for road work next week.
According to the Northampton Township Police Department, which published a statement on the closures, the road work will begin this coming Monday, with the road being closed in the area of Highland Drive from 9 a.m. to around 3 p.m. This part of the project is expected to last one to two days.
The second part of the road work is scheduled to be in the area of Sackettsford Road from May 18 to May 20. These closures will also be from 9 a.m. to around 3 p.m.

The closed roads will be open overnight for late-day travelers. All road work activities are weather-dependent.
Alternative routes and early departure times are suggested for drivers who usually take these roads.
