Vehicle Stolen, Driver Arrested For DUI: Northampton Township Police Report
Police also had their hands full with traffic accidents involving deer, several loose dogs, and a disabled vehicle.

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Northampton Township Police Department reported the following arrests and incidents between Dec. 22 and 28:
December 22
- Traffic Accident (Deer Involved) - Patrol responded to the 200 block of East Holland Road for a traffic accident. Unit 1 was traveling eastbound on East Holland Road when a deer entered the roadway and it was struck by a car

- Traffic Accident (Deer Involved) - Patrol responded to the 400 block of Middle Holland Road for a traffic accident. Unit 1 was traveling eastbound on Middle Holland Road when a deer entered the roadway and it was struck by a car. Tow was not required.
December 24
- Found Dog - Patrol responded to the area of Newtown-Richboro Road and Holland Road for a loose dog. Once on location, patrol was able to locate the dog. The owner was located and the dog was returned.
December 25

- Found Dog - A dog was dropped off at the police station after being found in the area. Patrol checked and found that the dog had a microchip. Information was obtained and the dog was eventually reunited with its owner.
December 26
- DUI Arrest - While in the area of Plumly Way and Taylors Way, police observed a vehicle and an individual inside slumped over in the driver’s seat. Contact was made and through investigation, the driver was taken into custody on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and other drug-related offenses.
- Motor Vehicle Theft - Police responded to a home in the Richboro section of the township for a motor vehicle theft. The victim reports that their vehicle was stolen sometime overnight. Information was gathered and the case has been assigned
December 27
- Disabled Vehicle - Patrol responded to the area of Holland Road and Serene Drive for a disabled vehicle. Patrol made contact with the driver who reported losing control and going off the road. A passerby and patrol assisted with getting the vehicle back onto the roadway.
December 28
- Suspicious Vehicle - Patrol observed a vehicle parked in the middle of a lot in the 1000 block of 2nd Street Pike. Contact was made with the vehicle owner who reported running out of gas. They added that they would be back to move the vehicle. Everything checked out and patrol cleared.
