Vehicle Thefts Under Investigation In Northampton Township
Arrest warrant issued for the arrest of a Camden, New Jersey, man in connection with the thefts on Tuesday and Wednesday.
NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — An arrest warrant has been issued for a New Jersey man for his involvement in a series of car thefts on Tuesday and Wednesday in the township.
On June 2 and 3, police responded to numerous theft from motor vehicles and three vehicle thefts, which happened predominantly in the Holland area during the early morning hours of both days.
Police said home video footage showed that multiple people were involved in the thefts.

During the early morning hours of June 3, police said an alert officer noticed two suspicious vehicles in the area of East Holland and Old Jordan Roads and attempted an investigatory stop. Both vehicles, however, fled the stop at a high rate of speed.
One of the two vehicles was subsequently identified as having just been stolen from the Holland area of the township.

During an investigation, police identified Paul Spavlik, 24, of Camden, N.J., as being involved in the thefts. A felony arrest warrant for theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property was subsequently issued for Spavlik. His whereabouts are currently unknown.
Police said additional evidence and video footage is being processed and reviewed in an attempt to identify additional actors involved in the thefts.
