Fourteen candidates are running for Lehigh County commissioner seats in five districts in the May 21 primary, according to an unofficial voter registration list.

Incumbent Tom Creighton, of Lynn Township, is unopposed in his bid for the Republican party nomination.
Bill Leiner, a Coplay councilman and former Coplay mayor, is unopposed in the his bid the Democratic party nomination.

With no primary battles (unless there are write-in candidates), the two would square off in the general election in November.
District 1 includes North Whitehall, Weisenberg, Lynn, Heidleberg, Washington, Lowhill, Slatington, Whitehall and Coplay

The most competitive field is District 5, which has four Republicans running for one seat in the primary and two Democrats running for one seat in its party's primary.
