Meet A Future Leader In North Whitehall: Trang Phung
Patch and T-Mobile have partnered to highlight young people achieving great things in our community.
The future of North Whitehall is looking bright, thanks to the incredible young people working to strengthen our community. In partnership with T-Mobile, Patch is proud to spotlight future leaders like Trang Phung, who are making a positive impact in and around North Whitehall.
Trang, a recent graduate of Whitehall High School, was honored with the 2022 Outstanding Career & Technical Education Senior Award at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute. The award recognized her exceptional achievements in the Electromechanical/Mechatronics Technology program, including placing first in Industrial Motor Control at the SkillsUSA District 11 Championships, which earned her a spot at the state competition.
Trang’s hard work and dedication are also reflected in her outstanding performance during her cooperative education program with East Penn Manufacturing, where she earned rave reviews from her employer. After graduation, Trang continued her education at Temple University, where she is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Engeering with an Electro-mechanical concentration.
