Cool Ways to Beat the Heat

Get ready for the first heat wave of the summer.

Temperatures in North Whitehall Township are expected to be around 90 degrees over the next three days, so we figure you might be looking for ways to escape the heat.

Here are some options:

• Have a plan for wherever you spend time – school, home or work – and prepare for the possibility of power outages.
• Know those in your neighborhood who are elderly, young, sick or overweight. They are more likely to become victims of excessive heat and may need help.
