Golf Course Road Bridge to be Repaired
Golf Course Road will be closed to limited traffic for two- to three weeks when construction works begins to repair the bridge that was damaged from a car accident.

Golf Course Road will be closed to limited traffic for two- to three weeks when construction works begins to repair the bridge, according to North Whitehall Township officials.
The bridge's wall and railing was damaged when it was struck by a vehicle several months ago.
The bridge work is expected to take 30 days to complete but will be done before the beginning of the new school year, said Township Manager Jeff Bartlett.

The construction bid to repair the bridge was awarded to Grace Industries, Inc., which submitted the lowest bid at $23,205, Bartlett said.
The township received five bids on May 30, which ranged from $23,205 to $51,352, Bartlett said.

The township insurance will pay $21,000, he said.
