
Holiday craft fairs rev up this weekend in the South Whitehall, Upper Macungie and North Whitehall areas.
The Women's Guild of St. Joseph the Worker hosts its annual Craftfest, showcasing the work of dozens of crafters. There also will be gift baskets, homemade candy and baked goods and a Santa shop where kids can shop for gifts. Craftfest is Saturday and Sunday, beginning at 9 a.m., at the church center, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield.Â
Lehigh County Community College is hosting its second annual Fall Holiday Festival, with arts and crafts, face painting, horse-drawn carriage rides, music, fun foods, finger printing by the South Whitehall police department, scholastic story time with Clifford the Big Red Dog and a basket raffle. The festival is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the college, 4525 Education Park Drive, Schnecksville.
Also on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Trexlertown Fire Company, is hosting a holiday fair at the social quarters, 7723 Hamilton Boulevard. There will be more than 60 tables with arts and crafts, baked goods, homemade soups and a basket drawing. Admission is free. For more information call 610-965-8184.

—A Holiday Bazaar will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at Cedarbrook Nursing Home.  There will be crafts, decorations, fashion scarfs, Sweet shoppe, white elephant section, plants and jewelry. You also will be able to buy cabbage and noodles for $3 and hotdogs for $1.
—Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall, is hosting a Crafty Afternoon from 1 to 3 Saturday for youngsters in grades 1 to 3. Registration is required. Call 610-398-1361 Ext. 19.Â

—The Illuminate Youth Conference, an annual three-day evangelical conference, will be held at Bethany United Methodist Church, 1208 Brookside Road, Wescosville.  The conference kicks off at 6 p.m. Friday. It aims to challenge and motivate students to dive deeper into their faith.
—There will be a Miller-Keystone blood drive at Greenawalds Fire & Rescue Company, 2500 Focht Ave., South Whitehall from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
—On Saturday, you can get a full-body workout through a series of Boot Camp-style stations along a 5K path in Cedar Creek Parkway, Allentown. The non-competitive 5K will benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Registration is $20. Visit www.active.com.
