Rescued Horse Falls in Ditch Again

Star, a 30-year-old horse, was rescued a second time in a month after falling down a slope into a ditch Tuesday in the 5000 block of Mill Creek Road in Lowhill Township.

Her owner said Star was resting on her side on a slope when she couldn't get on her feet. Star's companion, Jack, whinnied in distress in the field as he watched the rescue.
