• Malvern Prep's Cies, Zalota win Beast gold, seven other locals medal (dailylocal.com) — Oxford wrestling had a tough outing at the prestigious Beast of the East tournament in Delaware, losing fourth-seeded Jon Smith to a pre-tournament leg injury and seeing two other wrestlers eliminated Sunday. The spotlight instead went to nearby Malvern Prep, Downingtown West, and Kennett standouts, who brought home individual titles and medals in one of the nation’s toughest high school wrestling events.
