Additional 22 Lanes Will Make It Largest Snow Tubing Park in the U.S.!

PALMERTON, Penn. – Blue Mountain Resort, located in the foothills of Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains, announces Sunday, December 26, as the official opening of its Snow Tubing Park for seasoned and novice snow tubers and all enthusiasts in between; and Monday, December 27, for ski and snowboard instruction for the 2021/2022 winter season.


Blue Mountain Snow Tubing Park, home to the longest and fastest lanes in Pennsylvania, is initially opening with 12 lanes and will expand to 46 lanes as snowmaking continues, making it the largest snow tubing park in the country. Each lane is over 1,000 feet long, and a third carpet lift for tubing fun is being added. The park is serviced by three lifts, and tubers can choose between a single or double tube to enjoy the sport with a friend or for some friendly competition. The resort is also home to one of the largest snowmaking systems in the country.

Snow tubing hours are Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. and Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Snow tubing sessions are three hours long, and tickets are required to reserve each session. Session pricing starts at $20 per session.

Blue Mountain Resort opens its Snow Tubing Park for the 2021/2022 winter season with 12 lanes on Sunday, December 26, expanding to 46 lanes later in the season. Ski and snowboarding instruction begins Monday, December 27.

Blue Mountain Resort is a year-round resort located along the Kittatinny Ridge in the Pocono Mountain region adjacent to the Appalachian Trail near Palmerton, Pennsylvania.
