1 Dead, 1 Hurt In South Philly Home Invasion: Reports

A 27-year-old man is dead, and a 53-year-old man is recovering after armed intruders broke into a home on the 400 block of Cross Street.

PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Police are on the hunt for those responsible for a deadly South Philly home invasion.

The incident occurred at about 10 p.m. Tuesday at a home on the 400 block of Cross Street, Fox 29 reports.

Three men forced their way into the home, where they fatally shot a 27-year-old man and pistol whipped the homeowner, a 53-year-old man, according to NBC10.

Action News reports the shooting victim did not live in the home and that the owner is in stable condition.
