12-Year-Old Struck By Stray Bullet In North Philadelphia Shooting, Police Say

A 12-year-old boy was shot by a stray bullet in North Philadelphia Tuesday night, police said.

The 12-year-old was struck by the gunfire in the area of 18th and Huntingdon streets at around 6:45 p.m., according to police.

Police said the 12-year-old was taken to Christopher's Hospital, where he was placed in stable condition. The shooting is under investigation.
