$25K In Jewelry, $19K In Cash Stolen In Armed Home Invasion: Philly PD

Philadelphia Police said four armed men held five people at gunpoint in a home early Sunday morning, then stole cash, jewelry, and phones.

PHILADELPHIA — An armed home invasion led to a family being robbed of cash, jewelry, and electronics in Philadelphia Sunday morning, police said.

The incident happened at about 5:18 a.m. Sunday at a residence on the 3200 block of Cottman Avenue.

Four Hispanic men, between 20 and 30 years old, went into the home wearing ski masks. One wore a green coat while three others were wearing black coats.

They held five people at gunpoint and stole $19,000 in cash, $25,000 worth of jewelry, and five iPhones before fleeing in an unknown direction, police said.

The victims were a 15-year-old boy, a 25-year-old woman, a 29-year-old man, a 55-year-old woman, and a 61-year-old man. No injuries were reported.

Police have not made any arrests in connection with the incident.
