30-Plus Shots Fired In Deadly Tuesday Incident: Philadelphia Police

A 26-year-old man was found dead next to a large amount of cash, four cell phones, and a firearm after being shot early Tuesday morning.

PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia Police said a man was found dead next to cash, cell phones, and a gun early Tuesday morning in Germantown.

Officers were called to the 200 block of West Rittenhouse Street at about 1 a.m. for a report of a shooting, according to NBC10.

There, they found a 26-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshots to his head and body on the street, Action News reports.

More than 30 spent shell casings were found at the shooting scene, according to Fox 29.

Police said the victim was lying next to a handgun, four cell phones, and a large amount of cash was nearby.

No arrests have been made.
