4 Sought In Delco Teen's Killing On SEPTA Bus
Fifteen-year-old Zahkir Whitfield, of Upper Darby, was fatally shot while on a SEPTA bus Saturday afternoon in West Philadelphia.
PHILADELPHIA — Police in Philadelphia are looking for four people in connection with the deadly shooting of a Delaware County teenager over the weekend.
Zahkir Whitfield, 15, of Upper Darby, was shot at about 1:05 p.m. Saturday while on a SEPTA bus at 40th Street and Girard Avenue, police said.
Five to six teenagers were in the back of a SEPTA bus when they got into a fight, police said.

The driver stopped the bus, and one of the teens got off, according to police.
When the teen was getting off, police said he fired a gunshot into the bus, striking Whitfield in the chest.

That teen and three others ran west on Girard, toward 41st Street, after the shooting, police said.
Three of the suspects got on the bus in the area of Girard and Ridge avenues, wile the fourth suspect got onboard later, according to police.
A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this deadly incident.
