2 Shot On Christmas Day In Philadelphia

Philadelphia Police said one man is in critical condition and another is stable after they were shot at a Germantown Avenue smoke shop.

PHILADELPHIA — Two men were shot early on Christmas morning in a Philadelphia smoke shop, according to police.

Police said the shooting happened at about 4:56 a.m. Thursday at a business on the 3500 block of Germantown Avenue.

Officers were called to the store for a report of a person with a gun and a person shot inside the business.

There, police found multiple people in the store and on the sidewalk outside it, and said Temple University Hospital reported an unresponsive adult male victim showed up at their facility with a gunshot to the chest.

Police said that man is in critical condition and has not been identified,

A second man suffered gunshot wounds to his left arm and left ankle, police said. He walked into the hospital after driving himself from the scene in a gray Nissan Altima. He is listed in stable condition.

According to NBC10, investigators found 11 shell casings and a large amount of cash at the scene of the shooting. It's unclear if the shooting was connected to a robbery attempt.
