- Chaplains who served on Ground Zero after the September 11 attacks held a remembrance ceremony at the Chapel of the Four Chaplains at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia. (WPVI-TV)
- The Wardrobe seeks clothing to help Afghan refugees resettle in the Philadelphia area. Thousands of people have recently arrived in the greater Philadelphia region escaping the rule of the Taliban, which has now taken power in Afghanistan. (The Philadelphia Tribune)
- I-95 motorists will encounter periodic lane closures Monday through Thursday between 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Philadelphia for survey work, announced the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. - A neighbor’s call to police led to the discovery of a man slumped over in the driver’s seat of an SUV, dead after being shot in West Philadelphia. The neighbor called police around midnight Sunday to report a Cadillac Escalade was double-parked and then called again around 2 a.m. after hearing gunshots. (NBC 10 Philadelphia)
