Ambulance Fatally Strikes Woman In Philadelphia
The fatal crash happened sometime just before midnight at F Street and East Allegheny Avenue in Kensington, Philadelphia Police said.
PHILADELPHIA — A woman died after being struck by an ambulance in Philadelphia late Thursday night, according to Philadelphia Police.
The crash happened at about 11:52 p.m. on the 3100 block of F Street.
Police said a Philadelphia Fire Department medic unit was heading east on the 600 block of East Allegheny Avenue before making a right turn to go south on the 3100 block of F Street.

As the ambulance was turning, it struck a pedestrian, reportedly a woman.
Medic personnel immediately requested additional resources while administering emergency medical care.

A second medic unit came to the location and pronounced the person dead at 12:01 a.m. Friday.
The victim has not yet been identified.
Police are investigating the crash.
