"We’re thrilled to showcase artists at various stages in their careers, including a student from West Chester University, a seasoned children’s book illustrator, and a collage artist who recently relocated from Philadelphia to Indiana," Co-Producer for Germantown Art & Sound Vanessa Chandler told Patch. "It’s stories like these that make the Germantown Art & Sound experience so special, offering a diverse range of artistic mediums for every art lover to enjoy."

This year, the art shows are being hosted alongside the music series, Germantown Sound Sessions

"We’re excited to continue bringing these interactive creative experiences to Germantown and beyond, growing our presence across Philadelphia," Chandler said.

Velvet Grüve, an instrumental band known for fusing genres from funk to metal, will be playing tunes all night, as well.

Guests can enjoy complimentary red and white wine during the event. For food, a Mexican food truck will be on-site, offering a variety of options, including vegetarian-friendly choices, according to Chandler. The event is also BYOB.

Germantown Art & Sound was created with the creative in mind—a platform where artists can not only share their work but also sell it to a growing community of art lovers.

"Over the past five years, Germantown Art & Sound has evolved significantly," Chandler said. "What began as a monthly art show at Our House Culture Center has transformed into a quarterly event, building anticipation and excitement among attendees. Since rebranding after the pandemic, we’ve attracted a more diverse audience—especially in terms of age—and have seen an increase in the variety of artists applying, allowing us to showcase a broader range of creative talents.

"This growth has also led to greater opportunities for artists to generate revenue during the shows. Additionally, we’ve built a strong alumni network of past artists, staying connected and supporting their careers. Through it all, our passion for bringing arts and creative experiences to Germantown has remained unchanged. As the neighborhood continues to flourish with new artistic offerings, we’re proud to be part of this larger movement."

Our House Culture Center is located at 6380 Germantown Ave.
