  1. A baby boy who was taken in a stolen car in Northeast Philadelphia near Cottman Avenue is now back safe with his family, police say. The baby's mother left the vehicle running while she was going inside a takeout restaurant. When she exited the vehicle, a suspect jumped in and took off. The child and the vehicle were found near Tabor Road and Adams Avenue in the city's Crescentville section. (WPVI-TV)
  2. A man who allegedly shot and killed his girlfriend's father and injured her mother in North Philadelphia remains on the loose. The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday on the 2700 block of North Garnett Street. The girlfriend's father, a 49-year-old man, was shot multiple times and taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. (WPVI-TV)
  3. Terrill Haigler, better known as “Ya Fav Trashman” was honored by Pennsylvania State officials. State Representative Jared Solomon presented a citation from the State House to Haigler, a former Philadelphia Sanitation Department worker. He’s been on a mission to help with COVID precautions for the city’s essential workers, and for his continuing work to keep city streets clean. (CBS Philly)
  4. Big Daddy Graham, the beloved Philadelphia sports talk radio host, author, and comedian who entertained graveyard shifters on 94WIP, died Wednesday evening. Graham manned the early morning hours on WIP for about two decades and was known for his humor and sports knowledge. WIP didn't reveal a cause of death, but Graham has battled health issues in recent years. (NBC 10 Philadelphia)
  5. The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage has awarded $10.2M to 42 Philadelphia arts organizations and artists. The Barnes Foundation, Philadelphia Orchestra, and the African American Museum in Philadelphia are among the recipients. The grants are to help them recover from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
