Barstool Philly Holding Cheesesteak Bracket Contest
The popular sports blog is hosting a March Madness-style contest, but instead of NCAA basketball teams, it's cheesesteak spot in the area.

PHILADELPHIA — Sports and food are things Philly does well and loves dearly.
So the folks at Barstool Sports Philly are hosting a March Madness-style contest, but the focus is on cheesesteaks rather than college basketball.
Barstool Philly is asking the public to submit nominations for their cheesesteak bracket.

Fans can submit their nominations for the bracket online here. Submissions will be accepted through Sunday.
The top 16 spots from the 2023 bracket have been automatically added to the cheesesteak tournament.

- Cafe Carmela
- Campo’s
- Chubby’s Steaks
- Dalessandro’s Steaks
- Del Rossi’s Cheesesteak Co.
- Donkey’s Place
- Geno’s Steaks
- Jim’s Steaks
- John’s Roast Pork
- Mama’s Pizzeria
- Oregon Steaks
- Philip’s Steaks
- Pudge’s Steaks & Hoagies
- Steve’s Prince of Steaks
- Tony Luke’s
Sixty-four cheesesteak-slinging spots will fill the bracket, and one winner will be chosen.
Play-in voting will begin Tuesday, with winners being added to the bracket of 64.
On March 28, the full bracket will be revealed.
"A lot has changed since the last bracket—some legendary spots have shut down, while new places have entered the scene," the submission form reads. "Now it's time to see who will be crowned best cheesesteak!"
