Three or four other juveniles were in the home at the time of the shooting, and the victim did not live at the property, according to Fox 29.
One of the juveniles was handling a gun when it went off, striking the boy and leading police to believe the shooting may have been accidental, police said.
Police said most of the juveniles left the property after the shooting, but one stayed.
It's unclear why the juveniles had the gun.
