  1. Philadelphia police say a young boy who was abducted during a vehicle theft was found safe, but the search continues for the suspect. The incident happened just after 8 p.m. Saturday on the 200 block of N. Peach Street in West Philadelphia. Police say a father left his silver Jeep Cherokee running with his 2-year-old boy inside while he went into his home when a male suspect jumped inside the vehicle and took off. (WPVI-TV)
  2. A 29-year-old man was shot and killed Sunday night in Philadelphia’s Kingsessing neighborhood. Police identified the victim as Aaron Greene. The shooting happened around 11 p.m. on the 5300 block of Malcolm Street. (CBS Philly)
  3. A 15-year-old Philly entrepreneur appeared on Shark Tank last Friday. Trey Brown was just 12 years old when he used his birthday money to start “SPERGO,” a colorful, sporty apparel company. On Friday’s “Shark Tank” episode, Brown landed a $300,000 investment deal from Daymond John .(The Philadelphia Tribune)
  4. City leaders helped cut the ribbon on the new headquarters of GIANT in Philadelphia’s Eastwick section on Monday. The new fulfillment center on Island Avenue will supply goods for GIANT Direct e-commerce. For the first time, GIANT Direct will also serve select zip codes in South Jersey. (CBS Philly)
  5. To honor the country's veterans and their furry friends, the Pennsylvania SPCA and No Dog Gets Left Behind are partnering to host a free vaccine clinic pets of veterans and active military personnel in celebration of Veterans Day. The event, which will be hosted on a first come, first served basis, will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at the PSPCA's Philadelphia headquarters. (Philadelphia Patch)
