Citizens Bank Park Ranked As Top MLB Stadium

While the Phillies kick off their season Thursday in Washington, they will return to Citizens Bank Park Monday for the home opener.

PHILADELPHIA — Recently, we told you about how MLB fans said the Phillie Phanatic was the best mascot in the league. He was also named the scariest/most intimidating, for the record.

And now, the Phanatic's home has been named the best stadium in baseball.

USA Today released its list of the 10 best stadiums in the MLB. The publication asked an expert panel to nominate their top picks for MLB stadiums, then readers voted to determine the winners.

With all said and done, Citizens Bank Park was ranked No. 1 on the list.

The City of Brotherly Love welcomed a brand-new stadium in the 21st century, with Citizens Bank Park opening to the public in 2004. Philadelphia Phillies games are a top attraction around here, but no visit to the park is complete without checking out Ashburn Alley, a site that's packed full of local restaurants and baseball-themed interactive displays.

The Phillies will return to Citizens Bank Park for their home opener against the Colorado Rockies on at 3:05 p.m. on Monday.

  3. Petco Park, San Diego, California
