Crafted In Philly Beer Tour Expands For 2025

The Crafted In Philly beer tour has added more participating breweries and extended its run from two months to three. See details here.

PHILADELPHIA — Attention Philly-area beer lovers: this summer, you can get beers for less than $2 at nearly three dozen locations in the region as part of the second iteration of the Crafted In Philly tour.

The 2025 Crafted In Philly tour will run from April 25 through July 31 with 31 breweries on board.

Tickets are $50 and get you one 8- to 12-ounce pour of their choice at participating breweries. Ticket holders will also be able to vote on their favorite beer style, brewery, overall atmosphere, and much more.

In 2025, the event has 31 breweries on board and extended to three months.

Evan Blum and Cole Decker, founders of BrewedAt, came up with the tour along with the Let's Rallie team as a way to get people through the doors of local breweries.

"The idea was to get people in breweries and experience that atmosphere, more than just beer itself," Decker told Patch.

Oftentimes with beer festivals, attendees don't get a chance to connect more deeply with which brewery is filling their glasses.

With this year's tour nearly tripling, Decker and Blum are expecting even more tickets to be sold.

New additions this year include Pennsylvania's first black-owned brewery Two Locals, Dock St. Brewery, and Other Half Brewing.

Another major newcomer is the popular Victory Brewing Company.

Blum said adding a major brewer to the tour will help bring more awareness to smaller, more independent breweries in the region.

"A rising tides raises all ships," he said.

And there's more that's new for this year's tour.

"We added in cidereies this year, which is sick," Decker said.

They are Cider Belly Hard Cider, Hale & True Cider Company, Young American Hard Cider & Tasting Room.

2024's tour was only limited to Philadelphia breweries, but this year the team expanded into the suburbs.

Suburban brewers on board this year include King of Prussia's Workhorse Brewing Company, Yardley's Vault Brewing Company, and Aston's 2SP Brewing Company.

While the two say Philly is a great city for beer with a long history of brewing, they are thrilled to get suburban businesses in on the tour.

Blum and Decker said onboarding these new breweries has been easy and exciting, going on to say only in the event's second year they feel like they have been cemented into the regional brewing scene.

"People were jumping on board," Decker said.

They though maybe the event would increase from 11 participants to 20, but did not expect to hit 31.

As for the future, Decker and Blum hope the tour expands.

"We will be working on how to make it better and what that entails," Blum said.

That could include working with local restaurants that offer beers by participating brewers, and possibly even expanding into South Jersey.
