Crews To Address Potholes Across Philadelphia This Week
The region has a high volume of potholes in spring due to temperatures fluctuating between freezing and mild, known as a freeze-thaw cycle.
PHILADELPHIA — PennDOT said crews will be working to address potholes in Philadelphia this week as part of a larger effort to fix deteriorated pavement on dozens of highways in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.
According to PennDOT, maintenance crews will be working on the following roads:
- I-95.
- U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard).
- Academy Road.
- Allegheny Avenue.
- Aramingo Avenue.
- Betsy Ross Bridge Interchange.
- Borbeck Avenue.
- Bridge Street.
- Castor Avenue.
- Cottman Avenue
- Frankford Avenue.
- Harbison Avenue.
- Keystone Street.
- New State Road.
- Princeton Avenue.
- Rhawn Street.
- Robbins Avenue.
- State Road.
- Tacony Street.
- Torresdale Avenue.

PennDOT would like to remind motorists that potholes can be reported to PennDOT’s Customer Care Center online here.
Since Jan. 1, District 6, which covers the Philadelphia region, has received over 3,700 customer concerns regarding potholes.
