100-Plus Flights Delayed, Canceled At Philly International Airport
Travelers reportedly waited for hours for luggage at the Philadelphia International Airport Monday as delays and cancelations abound.
PHILADELPHIA — Travelers looking to get out of Philadelphia, for whatever reasons, have been waylaid, as more than 130 flights are delayed and canceled Monday morning.
According FlightAware, 104 flights are delayed and 36 flights are canceled at the Philadelphia International Airport as of 11:30 a.m. Monday.
Of those delayed and canceled flights, 57 are heading to Philadelphia and 47 are leaving Philadelphia, according to the website.

American Airlines shares the brunt of those canceled and delayed flights, 103 delayed and canceled flights total, the website shows.
Fox 29 reports the baggage carousels at the airport were empty, but the area had piles of abandoned bags.

According to Action News, some travelers are sleeping in the airport and others are unsure where their luggage is.
One traveler visiting the United States told NBC10 they sat on a plane for two hours and never departed.
