Murder, More Charges Filed In 2-Year-Old Girl's Beating Death: Philly DA
Sean Hernandez is charged with murder and related crimes in connection with Key'Monnie Bean's death. Two others have also been charged.

PHILADELPHIA — Three people have been charged in connection with the death of a 2-year-old child, and one of the three is accused of murder.
Sean Hernandez, who also goes by Raafi Gorham, 21, is charged with murder, endangering the welfare of a child, possession of an instrument of crime, recklessly endangering another person, obstruction of justice, and related crimes.
Also charged are Anthony Lowrie and Alycia McNeill, the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office said. They have been charged with obstruction of justice and other related offenses.

The charges stem from the beating death of 2-year-old Key'Monnie Bean.
On Dec. 8, Philadelphia Police were called to a home on the 2100 Block of South Beechwood Street in South Philadelphia.

There, officers found the child unresponsive with severe physical injuries along her body.
She was taken to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where she was pronounced dead.
Four people were identified at the scene and brought in for questioning with the Philadelphia Police Department's Homicide Unit. This led to charges being filed against Hernandez, Lowrie, and McNeill, authorities said.
Hernandez is scheduled for a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 5, 2026.
