- The scheduled Eagles game on Sunday has been postponed due to COVID-19 cases among players, the NFL announced. It was one of three NFL games pushed back due to a surge of cases around the league. The Eagles will now play their game against the Washington Football Team on Tuesday at 7 p.m. (Philadelphia Patch)
- Two people are in stable condition after a shooting outside a West Philadelphia motorcycle club Friday morning, according to Philadelphia police. The victims, a man and a woman, were shot near 40th and Poplar Streets around 1:30 a.m. Details are limited at this time, but investigators believe someone tried to wash the scene after finding water and fresh soap suds. - Philadelphia police kicked off what it hopes will become an annual holiday event for children on Friday. The "Shop with A Cop" event took place at the Walmart on Columbus Boulevard. Santa and Mrs. Claus spread good cheer as children whispered their Christmas wishes. (CBS Philly)
- A disturbing trend has Philadelphia-area schools on high alert as threats of violence continue to circulate on social media. The threat, which was primarily being fueled on TikTok, had many school districts increasing police presence Friday.
