PHILADELPHIA — Millennials who were deep in their angsty teenage feelings in the 2000s can rejoice: beloved emo rockers Brand New are going out on tour.

After nearly eight years of being on hiatus, the Long Island outfit comprised of frontman Jesse Lacey, lead guitarist Vincent Accardi, drummer Brian Lane, and bassist Garrett Tierney are coming to Philadelphia for their new tour.

Brand New will play TD Pavilion at The Mann in Philadelphia on July 1.

Brand New burst onto the post-punk and post-hardcore music scene in 2001 with their first album "Your Favorite Weapon."

By their sophomore album, "Deja Entendu" (2003), the band had shirked the pop-punk sound and embraced a more mature, brooding tenor.

Their subsequent releases, "The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me" (2006), Daisy (2009), and "Science Fiction" (2017) saw more experimental tracks while maintaining Lacey's signature crooning vocals and poetic lyrics.

The band was sidelined in 2017 when two women accused Lacey of sexual misconduct that occurred in the mid 2000s.

In late 2024, the band reunited for a charity show in Nashville. Lacey then performed a solo show in Nashville on March 2, followed by the band announcing shows in Texas, Tennessee, and Kentucky, marking the band's return since the 2017 hiatus.

It's unclear what acts, if any, will be supporting Brand New on their newly announced dates.
