The annual fall River Days series brings fun, family-friendly, free events as part of the Alliance for Watershed Education of the Delaware River’s annual aim to bring awareness to the region’s precious water source. PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE DUCK RACE BY SENDING AN EMAIL TO CCCEC@PHILA.GOV. INDICATE THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE AND DUCKS. OR YOU MAY PAY THE DAY OF THE EVENT.
Numbered rubber ducks will race down the creek in heats for prizes. This event is perfect for all ages and is FUN! Ducks cost $2 each -- no limit! Funds raised support the Center’s environmental educational programming.

Honoring Our Past- Lenni Lenape Origins In Our Urban Watershed

We honor and recognize the Lenni Lenape as the original shepherds of this region and provide community members with an opportunity to explore our watershed through games, hands on activities, and walking tours. We'll host the Aqua Marooned Game, lead a water quality testing activity, and wrap up the day with a Lenni Lenape land acknowledgement and interactive presentation.
