Here are the top stories in Philadelphia today:

  1. If you're searching for historic Christmas cheer this year, visit Fairmount Park! Starting Dec. 1, 2021 four of the park's historic houses will deck the halls for the holiday season. Guests can enjoy a free tour through any of the houses during the weekends before Christmas. (Press Release Desk)
  2. The Sisterly Love Collective — an organization of women business owners in Philly who held a series of revenue-boosting events during the pandemic — will host a second round of holiday markets this December, marking the one-year anniversary of the feminist collective.
The three markets will take place on Dec. 4, 11, and 18. As at previous markets and Sisterly Love events, the vendors will include a diverse lineup of women-owned businesses selling food, beverages, home goods, and other things worth gifting your loved ones this holiday season. (Eater Philly)
  3. After the coldest morning since spring in Philadelphia with a low of 28 degrees Tuesday, temperatures are set to rebound significantly for Thanksgiving Day. Got plans for a Turkey Trot? You’ll still need to bundle with temperatures near freezing at 8 a.m. Afternoon highs will warm nicely into the mid-50s under abundant sunshine. (CBS Philly)
  4. Christmas Village is back at LOVE Park and City Hall! The festivities begin after the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade on Nov. 25. They continue through Christmas Eve, Dec. 24. (Press Release Desk)
