'Las Culturistas' Host Matt Rogers Bringing Christmas Variety Show To Philly

PHILADELPHIA — Comedian, actor, writer, and podcaster Matt Rogers is hosting a Christmas-themed variety show in Philadelphia this December.

Rogers' solo "Christmas in December" tour will come to Philadelphia's Theatre of Living Arts on Dec. 10.

Tickets will be available starting with the general on-sale at 10 a.m. Friday at on Ticketmaster.

Following the sold-out success of his 2024 solo holiday tour, Rogers is bringing the show back for another year of comedy, music, and holiday spirit.

Known as the co-host of the acclaimed podcast "Las Culturistas" with Bowen Yang, Rogers has built Christmas in December into a fan-favorite tradition, blending comedy, musical numbers, and surprise moments.

His special "Have You Heard of Christmas" premiered on Showtime and has received wide acclaim, including being named by Variety as one of The Best Comedy Specials of 2022, and New York Times best comedy of 2022.

The songs from the special were released by Capitol Records for the 2023 holiday season and have surpassed 6 million streams.

Rogers was named one of Variety's Comics To Watch in 2021, and "Las Culturistas" was named Time Out New York’s #1 Comedy Podcast and Time Magazine’s "50 Best Podcasts to Listen to Right Now."

Las Culturistas also won Podcast of the Year Award at the 2023 iHeartRadio Podcast Awards.
