Lionel Messi, Inter Miami FC Cruise Past Philadelphia Union In 2023 Leagues Cup Semifinals

CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) -- Lionel Messi scored as Inter Miami FC cruised past the Philadelphia Union, 4-1, in the 2023 Leagues Cup semifinals at Subaru Park in Chester on Tuesday night.

Josef Martinez, Jordi Alba and David Ruiz also knocked in goals for Inter Miami.

Alejandro Bedoya scored the Union's lone goal in the 73rd minute. Inter Miami will play the winner of Monterrey and Nashville in the championship on Saturday.
