Man Fatally Shot Near Temple University Tuesday Morning: Reports

According to one report, authorities believe the shooting involved the current boyfriend and an ex-boyfriend of a woman.

PHILADELPHIA — A man was fatally shot near Temple University Tuesday morning, according to reports.

The shooting happened at about 1:19 a.m. on the 1600 block of Willington Street, NBC10 reports.

According to Action News, the victim, 21, was visiting his ex-girlfriend when get got into an altercation with her current boyfriend.

At one point, the boyfriend shot the 21-year-old man,

He was pronounced dead at 1:27 a.m.

The boyfriend was taken into custody at 20th and Jefferson streets.
