Man Sought After Stable Fire Kills 2 Horses, Hurts Others: Philly PD
Police described the suspect as a white male with a thin build wearing dark pants, a gray long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt, and a black hat.
PHILADELPHIA — After a fire at an unpermitted stable in South Philadelphia killed two horses and hurt several others, Philadelphia Police are looking for a man who set the fire.
The fire started at a pop-up stable on the 5800 block of Eastwick Avenue at about 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
The Pennsylvania SPCA said its officers responded to the scene and found two horses dead.

Twelve other horses were alive, however. Three of the surviving horses were taken to University of Pennsylvania’s New Bolton Center for critical treatment. Three other horses were taken to the Pennsylvania SPCA’s Philadelphia headquarters.
The ATF City Wide Arson Task Force is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person depicted in the video responsible for starting this fire.

Police described the suspect as a white male with a thin build who was wearing dark-colored pants, a gray long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt, and a black hat.
