Man In Wheelchair Killed By School Bus In Southeastern PA

PHILADELPHIA — A man in a wheelchair was fatally struck by a school bus in Philadelphia, according to police.

Philadelphia Police said the fatal incident occurred at about 4:49 p.m. on the 500 block of West Lehigh Avenue.

No children were aboard the bus when the crash happened, police said.

The man was taken to Temple Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:16 p.m.

Police said the bus stayed at the scene, which was held for further investigation.

Authorities are still probing the crash.
