And one Philly mom has shown just how costly prom can be, as long as your pockets are deep enough.

Treva Harris reportedly spent more than $27,000 for her daughter's prom send off.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the local investor and businesswoman had crews create a Cinderella-themed fantasy land, complete with a two-story castle, chandeliers, and more.

The castle alone, the Inquirer reports, cost $27,500 to build over about a month's time.
Harris was posting about the grand send-off on her Instagram page about two weeks before the event.
At 5 p.m. on Friday, May 24, the parking lot at 4950 Lancaster Ave. was the scene for her daughter Azar's prom send off.
The send-off was captured by videographers and shared to Harris's social media.
