Montco Man Fatally Stabbed In Philadelphia Tuesday
An Abington man on his way to work Tuesday morning was fatally stabbed. Philadelphia Authorities have now charged a man with murder.
PHILADELPHIA — A Montgomery County man who was reportedly on his way to work died after being stabbed in Philadelphia Tuesday morning.
Jean Schultz Junio Laurent, 51, of Abington, was stabbed at about 7:19 a.m. Tuesday on the 1500 block of Wadsworth Avenue, Philadelphia Police said.
Action News reports he was on his way to work at June's Kitchen when the attack happened.

Officers were called to the area for a report of a stabbing and found Laurent being treated by medics.
Laurent was suffering from a puncture wound to his chest, according to police.

He was taken to Jefferson-Einstein Hospital, where he died at 8:21 a.m.
Authorities later apprehended 48-year-old Scott Hilton, of the 1600 block of East Mount Airy Avenue, in connection with the stabbing.
Police said Hilton stabbed Laurent then ran off before being captured eventually.
Hilton is charged with murder and related offenses.
